Transportation

Old Toronto offers property owners the choice between several means of transportation. Owing to many nearby rapid transit stations with access to the Line 2 (Bloor - Danforth) and Line 1 (Yonge-University), and over 100 nearby bus lines, the public transit service in Old Toronto is excellent. Old Toronto is also an extremely convenient part of Toronto for pedestrians; running daily errands is very convenient, and many businesses of different types can be found as well. Cycling is reasonably adopted in Old Toronto because bike-share stations are hardly ever more than a short distance away, and the bicycling infrastructure is reasonably good.

In Old Toronto, families will almost always be able to get to schools and daycares on foot. Along with public schools, there are private primary and high schools. The majority of locations in the former municipality have good access to parks, like Humber Marshes and Lower Don Parklands, since there are over 600 of them nearby for residents to visit.
