Part of the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area, Portlands is a neighbourhood within Toronto, Ontario.

Transportation

Portlands allows homeowners to travel using a diversity of methods of transportation. Portlands is a fairly convenient part of Toronto for getting around by public transit as a result of a few nearby bus lines. A majority of the homes for sale in this neighbourhood are located in places that are also suitable for walking; all common errands can be run without the use of a car, and there are also a good number of businesses nearby. This neighbourhood is a very pleasant part of Toronto for cyclists. More precisely, Portlands is home to a good bicycling infrastructure, bike-share stations are rarely more than a short distance away, and there are a limited number of elevation changes for cyclists to brave.

Services

Primary schools and daycares are easy to access on foot from anywhere in this area. However, there are no high schools in this neighbourhood. With respect to food, it is typically practical for property owners in Portlands to buy general and specialty groceries on foot. Character

There are a lot of green spaces to enjoy in Portlands, despite its sometimes busy atmosphere. However, there are few tree-lined streets.
