Part of the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area, Ward's Island is a neighbourhood within Toronto, Ontario.

Transportation

Ward's Island is very car friendly. Parking is generally easy. On the other hand, public transit users may have few choices in Ward's Island as a result of the low service level. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. Active house buyers will value the very bike-friendly nature of this part of Toronto. For instance, cyclists do not encounter serious hills. On the other hand, it is very impractical for pedestrians to move around in Ward's Island since common amenities such as banks or barbers can be a walk away.

Services

Ward's Island does not contain any high schools or primary schools. Likewise, daycares are not numerous and consequently not always within walking distance.
