The neighbourhood of Latimer Lake is part of the city of Saint John, New Brunswick, which is situated in the Greater Saint John metropolitan area.

Transportation

The car is very often the favoured approach to get around in Latimer Lake. It is especially convenient to access a place to park. Getting around by bicycle is difficult in this part of Saint John because there are very few bike lanes, and there are a fair number of elevation changes. Many of the homes for sale in this neighbourhood are located in places that are also not very convenient for walking because running daily errands is inconvenient.

Services

There are only a very small number of primary schools in Latimer Lake and accordingly they can be a very long walk away. Furthermore, this part of the city does not contain any high schools.
