There are a few parks nearby for residents to check out and they are especially well-spread out, making it easy to get to them. Finally, since there are few pedestrians, this part of Markham remains relatively quiet, although there can be more noise for those who are near Highway 404 or Highway 407.

Housing

Commerce Valley experienced its main construction boom after the year 2000, so most of the available homes are from this time period. The large percentage of large apartment buildings in the housing stock of this part of the city is an important part of its character. Roughly 70% of the properties in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners whereas the rest are rented. This part of the city offers mainly one bedroom and two bedroom homes.
