Rockway is a neighbourhood within Kitchener, Ontario, which is situated in the Kitchener - Cambridge - Waterloo metropolitan area.

Transportation

The car is usually the preferred means of transportation in Rockway. Nearby highways, such as Highway 7 & 8, are very easy to drive to from any location in this part of Kitchener, and finding a parking spot is quite easy. In contrast, the public transit service in Rockway is somewhat poor. Thankfully, rapid transit stations, including Mill Station with access to the ION Light Rail, are commonly relatively close by from most houses in the neighbourhood. There are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. Even though there is a high density of cyclists, and some enjoyable pockets for bicycling exist, getting around by bicycle is sometimes difficult in this part of the city because riding is made strenuous by the typically sloping topography, and there are a limited number of bike lanes.
