It is very convenient to come across a place to park, and it is a short drive to the nearest highway, such as Highway 6, from anywhere in this part of Hamilton. On the other hand, Pleasant View is not very transit friendly. It is very challenging for people walking to navigate this part of the city because very few common errands can be run without having to resort to a vehicle.
