Transportation

Freeman is quite transit friendly by reason of Burlington on the Lakeshore West, and approximately 10 nearby bus lines. In contrast, there aren't many pedestrians out on the streets of this part of Burlington, despite the fact that running daily errands is easy by walking, and a good number of businesses of different types can be found as well. It is difficult to get around by bicycle in this part of the city since the cycling infrastructure is fairly poor. Nonetheless, cyclists do not face serious slopes, and some bicycling-friendly sectors exist. In contrast, the car is usually the best method to move around in Freeman. Nearby highways, such as Highway 403, are very easy to drive to from any home in this neighbourhood, and parking is generally easy.

It is a short walk to reach daycares from anywhere in this part of the city. In contrast, there are only a limited number of primary schools in Freeman and thus they can be an extended walk away.
