Part of the Greater Hamilton metropolitan area, Freeman is a neighbourhood within Burlington, Ontario.

Transportation

Freeman is transit friendly. There is the Burlington on the Lakeshore West. There are approximately 10 bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most houses. In contrast, travelling by foot is not very popular in Freeman, although meeting daily needs is convenient, and various businesses are reasonably close by. Freeman is not very bicycling-friendly because there are few bike lanes. Nonetheless, cyclists do not face significant elevation changes, and some pleasant areas for cycling can be found. In contrast, moving around by car is very easy in Freeman. Most real estate listings are a very short car ride from the nearest highway, such as Highway 403, and parking is quite easy.

Services

A supermarket is usually accessible within a rather short walk from most houses for sale in Freeman. Furthermore, there is commonly a restaurant or cafe just around the corner.
