Tangier is a community within Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is an excellent means of transportation in this part of the municipality. Parking is generally easy. Travelling on foot is not very practical for residents in this part of the municipality because almost no day-to-day needs can be met by walking. The bike is a quite poor method of transportation in Tangier because the topography is not particularly flat, and the cycling infrastructure is not very extensive.

Services

This part of the municipality does not contain any high schools or primary schools. With respect to food, it is very rarely an option for house buyers in this community to shop for their groceries on foot.

Character

People who prefer a slower-paced ambience will enjoy Tangier. Most areas in Tangier are quiet, as the streets are tranquil. Public green spaces are very hard to get to since they aren't well-situated. Still, there are a few parks close by for residents to unwind in.

The predominant housing types in Tangier are single detached homes and row houses. This part of the municipality offers mainly four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes.
