Transportation

Cars are a great means of transportation in Rocky Lake. The majority of properties for sale are a rather short drive from the closest highway, and it is very convenient to park. On the other hand, the public transit system in Rocky Lake is not very convenient. Nonetheless, property owners have access to a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is typically just around the corner. This part of Halifax is not very bike-friendly because there are a fair number of hills, and there are few bike lanes. Travelling on foot is also not particularly feasible for residents in Rocky Lake as few daily needs can be met by walking.

Services

In this area, parents and their schoolchildren will generally be able to get to both primary and secondary schools on foot.
