Sunnyside is a neighbourhood within Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Walking is practical for home buyers in this part of Halifax; many daily needs are convenient to meet without having to resort to a vehicle. However, it is at times challenging to commute by bike in Sunnyside because the cycling network is somewhat poor, and riding is made difficult by the typically sloping topography. Sunnyside is very car friendly. It is especially convenient to park, and it is a short drive to the nearest highway from anywhere in this area. On the other hand, the public transit service in this part of the municipality is not very frequent. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are generally nearby.

Services

Daycares and high schools are especially easy to walk to from most properties for sale in Sunnyside. In contrast, there are no primary schools in this neighbourhood.
