The community of Lake Loon can be found in the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Lake Loon is a very good part of Halifax for driving. Accessing a parking spot is quite easy. On the other hand, public transit riders may find limited options in Lake Loon as a result of the service's low frequency. Thankfully, the community is served by a few bus lines, and it is very easy to reach a nearby bus stop from most residences. Many of the homes for sale in this part of Halifax are located in areas that are not very convenient for those who travel by foot as meeting daily needs is inconvenient by walking. Lake Loon is also not especially conducive to biking because the terrain is not very flat, and there are few bike lanes.
