Lake Loon is a community within Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Cars are a very good medium of transportation in Lake Loon. Finding a place to park is easy. On the other hand, Lake Loon is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines, and bus stops are ordinarily nearby. It is at times challenging to travel by bike in this area as there are a fair number of elevation changes, and there are few bike lanes. Lake Loon is also not very conducive to those who travel by foot as most daily needs are difficult to meet without the use of a car.

Services

Reaching the nearest supermarket on foot is an option for some, but not all, house buyers in Lake Loon. In terms of education, parents and their children will find that wherever their house is situated in this area, daycares and primary schools are close by. In contrast, this part of Halifax does not have any high schools.

Character

Lake Loon offers a slower-paced ambience and will appeal to those who enjoy spending time outdoors.
