Transportation

The favoured approach to get around in this part of the municipality is usually a car. It is a short car ride to the closest highway from any location in this neighbourhood, and finding a parking spot is easy. However, travelling by public transit is difficult in Glen Moir. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is usually very close. Getting around by bicycle is at times challenging in this part of Halifax as cyclists encounter a considerable amount of hills, and the cycling infrastructure is rather poor. Glen Moir is also not particularly suitable for walking since few common errands can be run without the use of a vehicle.
