Transportation

Cars are an excellent transportation option in Glen Moir. The majority of houses for sale are a short drive from the closest highway, and it is very easy to come across a parking spot. However, the public transit network in this part of the municipality is fairly poor. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are commonly nearby. It is at times challenging to move around by bike in this area as the cycling infrastructure is not very comprehensive, and riding is made arduous by the often steep topography. It is also occasionally challenging for people travelling on foot to get around in this part of Halifax because few daily errands can be run without the use of a car.
