Part of the Cape Breton metropolitan area, Scotch Lake is a community within Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

Driving is a great medium of transportation in Scotch Lake. Parking is generally easy. This community is not very amenable to biking as the bicycling network is quite bad, and the terrain is not very flat. It is also very challenging for pedestrians to navigate Scotch Lake since running day-to-day errands is nearly impossible on foot.

Services

Scotch Lake does not have any high schools or primary schools. As far as food is concerned, it is very rarely an option for property owners in this community to purchase groceries by walking.

Character

Scotch Lake offers a relaxed atmosphere and will appeal to those who enjoy spending time outdoors. This part of Cape Breton Municipality is very quiet, as the streets are usually especially calm.
