Aldergrove

Situated within the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area, Aldergrove is a neighbourhood in Township of Langley, British Columbia.

Transportation

The car is often the favoured approach to navigate this neighbourhood. It is convenient to park. In contrast, commuting by transit can be difficult in Aldergrove as a result of the low service level. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most homes. Walking is not especially feasible for property owners in Aldergrove because few daily errands can be run without the use of a vehicle. Aldergrove is also not particularly suited for biking since there are a good number of elevation changes to challenge cyclists, and the bicycling infrastructure is not very comprehensive.

Services

A grocery store is usually reachable within a short walk from most properties for sale in Aldergrove. Residents benefit from about 30 restaurants and coffee shops as well. When it comes to education, daycares and schools are convenient to access on foot from anywhere in this area. Along with public schools, there are private elementary and high schools.

Character

Home buyers who prefer a slower-paced atmosphere will enjoy Aldergrove. Most areas in this part of the municipality are very quiet, as the streets are very tranquil. Lastly, there are around 20 green spaces close by for residents to unwind in, including Philip Jackman Park and Aldergrove Community Secondary, and they are very well-distributed, making them easy to get to.

About three quarters of the dwellings in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners and the rest are rented. In this part of Township of Langley, about 45% of buildings are single detached homes, while small apartment buildings and duplexes are the main alternatives in the housing stock.
