Part of the Greater Kamloops metropolitan area, Valleyview is a neighbourhood within Kamloops, British Columbia.

Transportation

Driving is usually the favoured way to move around in Valleyview. Parking is quite easy, and it is a very short drive to the closest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway, from any home in this area. However, this part of the city is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, residents are served by a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is usually just around the corner. This part of the city is not especially appropriate for bicycling because cyclists are faced with a considerable amount of hills, and the cycling infrastructure is not very well-developed. It is also impractical for people travelling on foot to move around in Valleyview as very few daily needs can be carried out by walking.

Services

A portion of house buyers in this area may have the option to do their groceries on foot, while others will have to use another means of transportation. Residents benefit from around 20 restaurants and cafes as well.
