The neighbourhood of sector W is part of the city of Brossard, Quebec, which is situated in the Greater Montreal metropolitan area.

Transportation

Sector W is very car friendly. It is especially convenient to come across a place to park. However, public transit riders may find limited options in this neighbourhood as a result of the infrequent service. It is inconvenient for pedestrians to get around in sector W since daily errands are at times challenging to run without needing to resort to a car. In contrast, it is convenient to commute by bicycle in this part of the city.

Services

Sector W does not have any high schools or primary schools. Likewise, there are only a few daycares and accordingly they can be an extended walk away. Concerning food, home buyers in sector W almost always have to turn to a vehicle to travel to the nearest grocery store.

Character

The character of sector W is exemplified by its relaxed atmosphere. This area features a good amount of greenery as numerous tree-lined streets are around. It is easy to reach green spaces from the majority of locations in the neighbourhood and there are a few of them close by for residents to unwind in. The noise levels in this part of the city are also very low, as the streets are generally very peaceful - although there are still several noisier areas, especially around Autoroute des Cantons-de-l'Est.

This part of the city also has a good choice of unit sizes; it is quite easy to find properties ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms. This area experienced its main construction boom following the year 2000, so most of the available homes are from this era.
