Transportation

The favoured method to get around in Caistor is very often a car. Parking is quite easy. It is very challenging for pedestrians to navigate this neighbourhood because almost no common errands can be run without having to resort to a car. Despite the fact that riding is facilitated by the generally flat terrain, the bicycle is a rather limited mode of transportation in Caistor as the cycling infrastructure is not very well-developed.

Services

Neither high schools or primary schools are easy to access as a pedestrian. Parents have the choice between public and private primary schools. Regarding eating, in all but a very small number of cases, a car is required to do groceries.

Character

Caistor is a wonderful neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a calm ambience. The noise levels in Caistor are very low, as the streets tend to be especially tranquil. Green spaces aren't well-situated, which results in them being very difficult to access from the majority of locations in this neighbourhood.

Housing

Roughly 95% of the units in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners and the rest are rented. In this area, the overwhelming majority of buildings are single detached homes, while townhouses are also present in the housing stock. Roughly one third of properties in this neighbourhood were built in the 1960s and 1970s, while many of the remaining buildings were constructed pre-1960 and in the 1980s. This part of the township is primarily composed of four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes.
