The neighbourhood of Mimico is part of the city of Toronto, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

Mimico will please home buyers that appreciate several methods of transportation. This part of the city features a fairly good public transit infrastructure thanks to Mimico on the Lakeshore West, and a few nearby bus lines. It is also convenient for people walking to navigate this part of the city; many daily errands can be run on foot. The bike is a fairly good mode of transportation in Mimico.

Services

The nearest grocery store in Mimico is typically only a short walk away. In addition, Mimico is a good place in which to eat out, and a limited selection of coffee shops can be found as well. In terms of education, parents and their kids will find that no matter where their property is situated in this neighbourhood, primary schools and daycares are close by. On the other hand, Mimico does not have any high schools. Families have the choice between public and private primary schools.

Character

Mimico offers a relaxed atmosphere and will appeal to those who enjoy spending time in green spaces. This neighbourhood features a fair amount of greenery as there are many tree-lined streets.
