Transportation

This area allows homeowners to travel by different means of transportation. Eglinton East has a very good public transit system. Train stations, such as the Kennedy and Eglinton with access to the Stouffville and Lakeshore East, are commonly close by from most houses in the neighbourhood. House owners benefit from about 10 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most properties. Eglinton East will also draw active house buyers as it is suitable for walking; many common errands can be run on foot, and a fair number of businesses of different types can be found as well. This part of the city is reasonably suited for cycling.

Services

In Eglinton East, families will usually be able to reach schools and daycares by walking. Parents have the choice between public and private schools at both the primary and secondary school level.
