The neighbourhood of Don Mills can be found in the city of Toronto, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

This area will please property owners that value several methods of transportation. Owing to about 10 nearby bus lines, Don Mills is a fairly pleasant part of Toronto for getting around by public transit. Many of the homes for sale in this area are located in places that are also reasonably well-suited for walking; running day-to-day errands is convenient. This area is cycling-friendly.

A grocery store is generally reachable within a short walk from anywhere in Don Mills. Character

Don Mills offers a relaxed environment and will appeal to home buyers who enjoy spending time outdoors. This part of Toronto is reasonably quiet, as the streets are usually peaceful - however noise can be problematic closer to Don Valley Parkway, Highway 401 or the railway line. Lastly, there is a large amount of greenery in this area; parks, like Edwards Gardens and Donalda Club, are very well-spread out and there are around 30 of them close by for residents to relax in, resulting in them being very easy to reach from many locations within the neighbourhood. In addition, residents will find that many tree-lined streets are present.

Housing

Roughly 60% of the properties in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners and 40% are occupied by renters. In this part of Toronto, about one third of buildings are single detached homes, but large apartment buildings and small apartment buildings are also present in the housing stock.
