Part of the Greater Thunder Bay metropolitan area, East End is a neighbourhood within Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Transportation

Driving is often the favoured method of transportation in this area. Accessing a place to park is generally easy. In contrast, East End is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines, and bus stops are typically nearby. This neighbourhood is not very suitable for walking because running daily errands is at times difficult. On the other hand, this part of Thunder Bay will attract active house buyers because it is quite suited for bicycling. For instance, there are few hills to challenge bike riders.

Services

Parents and their kids will find that wherever their house is located in East End, daycares and primary schools are nearby. However, East End does not have any high schools. Concerning food, the nearest grocery store in this area is usually only an extended walk away. Likewise, there is often a restaurant or cafe just around the corner.
