Part of the Greater Oshawa metropolitan area, Central is a neighbourhood within Oshawa, Ontario.

Transportation

Central is quite suited for biking because the cycling network is comprehensive. This part of the city will also attract physically active home buyers since it is suitable for walking; many daily errands can be run without the use of a car, and a variety of businesses are quite close by. Central is not particularly transit friendly. Nonetheless, there are about 10 bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are generally nearby. On the other hand, cars are a fairly good means of transportation in this neighbourhood.
