Transportation

Elgin is a fairly convenient part of Niagara Falls for pedestrians; many day-to-day needs can be met on foot. Bicycling is also easy in this neighbourhood. The car is often the favoured way to move around in this part of the city. It is convenient to park, and it is a rather short drive to the nearest highway, such as Highway 420, from any home in Elgin. However, the public transit system in Elgin is not particularly practical. Nonetheless, residents can depend on the Niagara Falls on the Lakeshore West. The neighbourhood is connected by approximately 10 bus lines, and most properties are very close to a bus stop.
