In contrast, commuting by transit can be very difficult in Highbury due to the infrequent service. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are typically a short walk away. A majority of the houses for sale in this part of London are located in areas that are not very suitable for walking as meeting daily needs is challenging. As far as education is concerned, Highbury does not have any high schools or primary schools. Additionally, families may find it very hard to reach daycares as a pedestrian.

Character

There are a lot of green spaces to enjoy in Highbury. There are a few parks close by for residents to visit, which makes it very easy to reach them. Finally, this part of London is an excellent area for those who aren't bothered by some noise, as traffic can occasionally be loud during busier hours of the day.

Housing

Single detached homes are the predominant housing type, representing almost all buildings in Highbury. Roughly half of properties in this area were built after the year 2000, while many of the remaining buildings were constructed pre-1960 and in the 1990s. This part of the city is primarily composed of four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes. Homeowners occupy roughly 90% of the units in Highbury and the rest are rented.
