The neighbourhood of Vanier is part of the city of Kitchener, Ontario, which is located in the Kitchener - Cambridge - Waterloo metropolitan area.

Transportation

Vanier presents home buyers with the choice between several modes of transportation. This area is reasonably transit friendly thanks to 2 rapid transit stations (Block Line Station and Fairway Station) on the ION Light Rail, and approximately 10 nearby bus lines. Physically active property owners will also welcome the pedestrian-friendly nature of Vanier; many daily errands can be run on foot. Vanier is quite bicycling-friendly.

Services

In Vanier, families will generally be able to get to daycares and primary schools on foot. In contrast, Vanier does not have any high schools. Families are served by public and private elementary schools. With respect to eating, the nearest supermarket in Vanier is usually only a rather short walk away. Character
