Transportation

Laurentian Hills will draw physically active people as it is reasonably convenient for walking; many daily needs can be met on foot. The bike is a good mode of transportation in this neighbourhood as there are a fair number of bike lanes. The favoured approach to navigate this neighbourhood is usually driving. Many properties for sale are a rather short drive from the closest highway, such as Highway 7 & 8, and it is convenient to park. In contrast, this neighbourhood is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most houses.

Services

It is usually an option for home buyers in Laurentian Hills to do groceries on foot. There are also about 10 restaurants and coffee shops in this neighbourhood. In terms of education, primary schools and daycares are convenient to get to on foot from anywhere in Laurentian Hills. However, Laurentian Hills does not contain any high schools. Residents benefit from public and private elementary schools.

This neighbourhood is reasonably quiet overall, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour - although that is not the case closer to Highway 7 & 8. Lastly, there are around 20 green spaces nearby for residents to unwind in, including McLennan Park and Laurentian Trail, and they are very well-situated, making it very easy to get to them.
