Housing

The sizeable percentage of single detached homes in the housing stock of Forest Heights is an important part of its character. This community is primarily composed of four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes. About 80% of the units in the community are occupied by homeowners and 20% are rented. This area experienced its largest construction boom between 1960 and 1980, so most of the available properties are from this era.
