Part of the Greater Hamilton metropolitan area, Hamilton Beach is a neighbourhood within Hamilton, Ontario.

Transportation

Cars are a great means of transportation in Hamilton Beach. Most houses for sale are a short car ride from the closest highway, such as Queen Elizabeth Way, and it is very easy to park. On the other hand, the public transit service in Hamilton Beach is fairly poor. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far from most properties. Hamilton Beach is bike-friendly since cyclists do not encounter serious elevation changes. This neighbourhood is not very convenient for walking since very few day-to-day errands can be run without having to resort to a vehicle.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in this neighbourhood. Regarding eating, property owners in Hamilton Beach almost always have to turn to a vehicle to reach the closest supermarket.

Character

There is a great variety of green spaces in Hamilton Beach. Most locations in the neighbourhood have reasonably good access to parks, including Beach Strip Open Space, since there are a few of them close by for residents to discover. This area is relatively calm, due to the presence of very few pedestrians.
