Stevenson is a neighbourhood within Oshawa, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Oshawa metropolitan area.

Transportation

Travelling by car is very convenient in this part of the city. It is very convenient to come across a place to park, and it is a very short drive to the nearest highway, such as Highway 401, from any location in Stevenson. In contrast, this part of the city is not particularly transit friendly. Nevertheless, there is the Durham College Oshawa on the Lakeshore East. Homeowners benefit from approximately 10 bus lines, and bus stops are commonly nearby. Despite the fact that some bicycling-friendly sectors can be found, commuting by bicycle is at times difficult in Stevenson since the cycling infrastructure is not very extensive, and the topography is not particularly flat. There are also relatively few pedestrians out on the streets of this neighbourhood, although many common errands can be run on foot.

Services

Primary schools and daycares are very easy to walk to from any location in this part of the city. In contrast, Stevenson does not have any high schools.
