Part of the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area, Midtown is a neighbourhood within Ajax, Ontario.

Transportation

This neighbourhood is a fairly pleasant part of Ajax for pedestrians; many daily errands can be run on foot. Cycling is also easy in Midtown. Driving is a very good means of transportation in this neighbourhood. The majority of real estate listings are a very short car ride from the closest highway, such as Highway 401, and parking is easy. However, this neighbourhood is not an especially pleasant part of Ajax for moving around by public transit. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and it is very convenient to get to a nearby bus stop from most properties.

Services

Parents and their children will find that no matter where their home is located in Midtown, daycares and schools are nearby. At the secondary level, both public and private schools can be found.
