The car is very often the best way to move around in this area. Parking is quite easy. It is very hard to move around by bike in Wellington because there are very few bike lanes, and there is a significant amount of elevation changes. This part of the municipality is also not very conducive to walking as most daily needs are very inconvenient to carry out on foot.

There are no high schools and no primary schools in this part of the municipality. With respect to food, in all but a very small number of cases, a car is required to purchase groceries. There are also a few opportunities for those who care about restaurants within walking distance.
