The community of Upper Sackville is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

The best way to get around in Upper Sackville is usually a car. It is very convenient to park. Upper Sackville is not very conducive to walking since running daily errands is very impractical. The bicycle is a fairly poor method of transportation in this part of Halifax since riding is made difficult by the often sloping area, and there are very few bike lanes.
