The community of Upper Sackville is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

This part of Halifax is especially car friendly. Parking is quite easy. Travelling on foot is not very feasible for residents in this area as meeting daily needs is very impractical. It is also difficult to move around by bicycle in this community since there are very few bike lanes, and bike riders are faced with a considerable amount of slopes.

Services

This community does not contain any high schools or primary schools. With regards to eating, in all but a very small number of cases, a car is needed in this part of the municipality to reach the closest grocery store.

Character

Home buyers who prefer a relaxed atmosphere will enjoy Upper Sackville. Upper Sackville is very quiet overall, as noise from the streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue. It is sometimes hard to access parks within the community since they are sparse. Still, there are a few green spaces nearby for residents to check out.
