The neighbourhood of Riverview is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Cars are a great transportation option in Riverview. It is especially convenient to find a place to park, and nearby highways are very easy to reach from any home in Riverview. However, the public transit service in this area is not very frequent. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and most homes are very close to a bus stop. It is sometimes difficult for people walking to navigate this area because running daily errands is at times challenging on foot. Riverview is also not very amenable to biking because there are a fair number of elevation changes for cyclists to brave, and the cycling network is not very well-developed.
