Part of the Greater Halifax metropolitan area, Purcell's Cove is a neighbourhood within Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

Cars are a very good medium of transportation in this part of the municipality. Parking is generally easy. However, travelling by transit can be challenging in Purcell's Cove by reason of the service's low frequency. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and it is very convenient to find a nearby bus stop from most properties. Walking is not very practical for house buyers in this part of the municipality since very few common errands can be run on foot. In contrast, it is easy to commute by bike in this neighbourhood.

Services

Purcell's Cove does not have any high schools or primary schools. Furthermore, it can be very hard to reach daycares as a pedestrian. In terms of food, a vehicle is almost always required in this part of the municipality to access the nearest supermarket.

Character

The character of Purcell's Cove is exemplified by its slower-paced environment.
