Situated within the Greater Halifax metropolitan area, Dalhousie is a neighbourhood in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

Dalhousie affords property owners several alternative means of transportation. Thanks to about 20 nearby bus lines, Dalhousie is home to a good public transit system. Dalhousie is also a fairly pleasant part of Halifax for pedestrians; many daily needs can be carried out by walking, and plenty of businesses are quite close by. Active property owners will welcome the bike-friendly character of this neighbourhood. For example, this area boasts a reasonably good bicycling infrastructure.

Services

It is easy to get to the closest grocery store on foot in this neighbourhood. Furthermore, this part of Halifax is a fairly good place in which to go out to eat or go to a cafe. As far as education is concerned, it is a very short walk to access schools and daycares from most houses for sale in Dalhousie.

Character

Dalhousie is a great neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a relaxed atmosphere. Most areas in this part of the municipality are very quiet, as the streets tend to be very calm.
