The neighbourhood of Oceanview is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Cars are an excellent transportation option in Oceanview. The majority of properties for sale are a rather short car ride from the nearest highway, and it is easy to find a parking spot. However, the public transit service in this area is not very frequent. It is sometimes challenging for pedestrians to navigate Oceanview as running common errands is at times difficult on foot. This area is also not particularly conducive to bicycling because there is a considerable amount of slopes, and the cycling infrastructure is not very comprehensive.

Services

Parents and their children will find that no matter where their home is located in Oceanview, daycares and primary schools are close by. In contrast, this part of Halifax does not have any high schools. Regarding food, it is often feasible for house buyers in this area to purchase their groceries by walking. Likewise, a cafe is generally a rather short stroll away.

Character
