The neighbourhood of Oceanview is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is an excellent medium of transportation in Oceanview. It is easy to park, and most houses for sale are a rather short drive from the nearest highway. However, travelling by public transit is very hard in this area. The bicycle is a sometimes poor means of transportation in Oceanview because there are few bike lanes, and cyclists encounter quite a few hills. Most houses for sale in this area are located in places that are also not particularly well-suited for walking as carrying out daily needs is sometimes difficult on foot.
