The neighbourhood of Oceanview can be found in the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Commuting by car is very easy in Oceanview. It is a rather short drive to the closest highway from anywhere in this part of the municipality, and accessing a place to park is easy. On the other hand, the public transit service in Oceanview is not very frequent. This neighbourhood is not especially bicycling-friendly as there are few bike lanes, and riding is made strenuous by the often steep topography. A majority of the houses for sale in this area are located in places that are also not especially suitable for walking as few common errands can be run on foot.

Services

It is convenient to reach the closest supermarket by walking from most homes for sale in Oceanview. Furthermore, a coffee shop is often just around the corner. Concerning education, parents and their schoolchildren will appreciate the proximity to primary schools and daycares, which are within walking distance from all properties for sale in this area. In contrast, there are no high schools in Oceanview.
