The neighbourhood of Magazine Hill is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is usually the preferred transportation option in this part of Halifax. Finding a place to park is easy. However, commuting by public transit is very hard in this neighbourhood. The bicycle is a fairly poor mode of transportation in Magazine Hill as bicycling is made arduous by the often sloping area, and there are few bike lanes. Many of the houses for sale in this neighbourhood are located in areas that are also not very well-suited for walking because very few common errands can be run without needing to use a vehicle.

Services
