The community of Lower Sackville can be found in the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

The favoured transportation option in this part of the municipality is usually a car. Most properties for sale are a rather short car ride from the closest highway, and it is very easy to park. However, Lower Sackville is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, property owners are served by about 10 bus lines, and bus stops are generally nearby. This community is not very well-suited for walking since carrying out daily needs is occasionally difficult. Cycling is also at times challenging in Lower Sackville since bicycle riders are faced with a significant amount of slopes, and there are few bike lanes.
