The neighbourhood of Glenmount is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Glenmount is an extremely good part of Halifax for driving. Parking is easy, and it is a rather short car ride to the closest highway from anywhere in this area. However, the public transit network in Glenmount is fairly poor. Thankfully, residents benefit from a few bus lines, and bus stops are usually nearby. This area is not particularly conducive to those who travel by foot because many daily needs are occasionally difficult to meet without the use of a car. On the other hand, biking is convenient in this area.

Services

A grocery store is ordinarily accessible within a rather short walk from anywhere in Glenmount. Residents of this neighbourhood can enjoy a few restaurants as well.
