The neighbourhood of Fernliegh is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is a great transportation option in this part of Halifax. Many homes for sale are a rather short drive from the closest highway, and it is very easy to park. However, this area is not an especially convenient part of Halifax for getting around by public transit. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most homes. Travelling on foot is not very practical for residents in this part of Halifax as carrying out daily needs is impractical by walking.
