The neighbourhood of Gaston is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

It is easy for pedestrians to navigate this part of Halifax; running common errands is convenient on foot. Gaston is also appropriate for bicycling. This part of the municipality is especially car friendly. Parking is generally easy, and it is a short drive to the nearest highway from any location in Gaston. In contrast, the public transit service in Gaston is not especially frequent. Thankfully, homeowners benefit from a few bus lines, and most properties are very close to a bus stop.
