Brookside is a community within Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

This community is very car friendly. It is very easy to park. Many of the homes for sale in this community are located in places that are not very suitable for walking since carrying out daily needs is very impractical. Biking is also difficult in this part of Halifax because there are a fair number of elevation changes for cyclists to brave, and Brookside has a quite poor bicycling infrastructure.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in Brookside. Additionally, daycares are not numerous and thus tend to require a very long walk to get to.
