Part of the Greater Halifax metropolitan area, Glenmore is a community within Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

Driving is an excellent transportation option in Glenmore. Parking is generally easy. It is very impractical for people travelling on foot to get around in Glenmore since almost no common errands can be run without the use of a vehicle. Bicycling is also very difficult in this community because there are a good number of slopes, and the cycling infrastructure is quite bad.

Services

This part of the municipality does not have any high schools or primary schools. As far as food is concerned, in all but a very small number of cases, a vehicle is required to buy groceries.

Character

The character of Glenmore is exemplified by its calm ambience. Glenmore is very quiet overall, as noise from the streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue. Parks are sparse, making it very hard to access them.

Housing

The predominance of single detached homes in the housing stock of Glenmore is an important part of its character.
