Part of the Greater Halifax metropolitan area, South Section is a community within Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

The car is usually the preferred method to move around in South Section. It is especially convenient to park. Travelling on foot is not very practical for home buyers in this part of the municipality as running daily errands is very challenging by walking. South Section is also not very bike-friendly since the bicycling network is not very comprehensive, and the topography is not particularly flat.
